A jamawar in the old sense: the whole shawl is covered. A dense floral jaal of small flowers, leaves and paisleys in peach, lilac, sky blue and soft green runs across the magenta ground. At each end stand tall paisleys inside arched frames, then a band of multicolour stripes and the fringe; a paisley-chain border runs down both long edges. Woven in, with the weave's floating threads on the reverse. Fine wool, 100 × 200 cm.
