Refund & Cancellation

Every Sable Monarch garment is produced to order based on your design and your size. This makes traditional “change-of-mind” returns impossible without significant waste, but we stand firmly behind the quality of what we send. This policy explains what is and is not eligible for a refund, replacement, or cancellation.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order for a full refund only within 1 hour of placing the order. After that one-hour window the design file is released to our manufacturer and the cut, print, or stitch work begins — delaying that handoff costs us production efficiency and cannot be reversed.

To cancel inside the 1-hour window, email info@sablemonarch.com with your order ID. We will cancel and refund within 5–7 business days. After 1 hour the cancellation will be denied and the order will ship as scheduled.

Embroidery and digitisation work is non-refundable once started. Embroidery requires a one-time digitisation pass per design (we convert your artwork into the stitch file the machine reads). The moment that pass begins — or any stitching follows it — the cost is committed and that portion of the order cannot be cancelled or refunded, even inside the 1-hour window.

When You Are Eligible for a Refund or Replacement

You are eligible for a free replacement or a full refund if:

  • the garment arrives with a manufacturing defect (torn fabric, broken stitching, faulty embroidery);
  • the printed design is significantly misaligned, faded, or missing compared to the order preview;
  • the wrong garment, colour, or size is shipped to you;
  • the parcel arrives damaged in transit such that the garment is unwearable.

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery with the order ID and clear photographs showing the issue (front, back, and a close-up of the problem area). We may request that the defective item be returned to us at our cost before issuing a replacement or refund.

When You Are Not Eligible

We are unable to accept refunds or returns in the following situations:

  • change of mind about the design, garment style, or colour after placing the order;
  • incorrect size selection when the garment matches our published size chart;
  • minor variations in colour caused by screen-vs-fabric rendering, lot-to-lot dye variation, or natural fabric texture;
  • variations in AI-generated designs from your mental expectation, where the design preview shown at order time matches the delivered print;
  • garments that have been washed, worn, altered, or damaged after delivery;
  • requests received more than 7 days after delivery.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, the refund typically reaches your bank within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Wallet recharge balances are non-refundable in cash but can be used against any future order.

Replacement Production Timeline

When we approve a replacement, the new garment goes into production immediately and follows the standard 5–10 business day delivery timeline. Replacements are shipped at no additional cost.

Failed Deliveries and Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incomplete, the recipient was unreachable, or delivery was repeatedly refused, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Re-shipment fees may apply in such cases. If we cannot reach you within 14 days of the parcel being returned, the order will be treated as completed and no refund will be issued.

For any refund, cancellation, or replacement request, email info@sablemonarch.com from the email address on your account, with your order ID and the relevant photographs. We will acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve as quickly as possible.
